Too many know what it’s like to be consumed by their health and fitness regimen. They try a restrictive diet that they must revolve their life around, and the only thing they get from that experience is a bad relationship with food.
Health and fitness is no longer about health or fitness. It’s about achieving a specific look. It’s about defining yourself by a workout or eating style. It’s something that defines you instead of serving you. Success is determined by how much weight you lost, not how you feel or the lifestyle you create.
And it’s nonsense. All of it. And you won’t find it here.
Want to finally build (and maintain) a fit, strong, confident body without obsessive eating habits or long, grueling workouts that leave you exhausted? Want to actually feel great about yourself today and not “someday”?
Dang right you do.
Let’s first cover what you WON’T find here: How to trick yourself into eating less; how to diet harder; how to burn off those cookies you just ate; workouts that leave you on the brink of vomiting. None of that nonsense is here.
Popular resources encourage women to always be on a diet. That we must always strive to look better and “fix our flaws,” and that how we look is the most important thing about us. That is nonsense.
If you’re like most readers of this website, you know all too well what it’s like following obsessive diets and punishing yourself with grueling workouts. Heck, you’ve probably even tried numerous diets, cleanses, and workout programs too.
I’ve been there and done that: tried dozens of diets and avoided a long list of foods, and it left me with disordered eating habits. I’ve punished myself with workouts and focused on nothing but “fixing my flaws” and hating how my body looked. Thankfully, I got off that roller-coaster of guilt, shame, and obsession and chose to use health and fitness as a tool to live a better life, and become the best version of myself.
It was this journey that ignited my passion as a trainer to help my clients choose the empowering approach to health and fitness. No diets, guilt, shame, or grueling, vomit-inducing workouts required.
How you eat and move your body should be enjoyable, and make your life less stressful. It should make you feel better about yourself and make you appreciate your body not just for how it looks, but for what it can do. It should be part of your life, and shouldn’t dominate it.
That’s what you’ll get here: arm yourself with BS-free information so you can achieve the results you want, feel great about yourself, and enjoy how you eat and move your body. It’s an empowering lifestyle, not a temporary fad.
You can do it too.
